Easy Fresh Fruit Pie
1 pre-baked pie shell
1 2oz pkg
Flanigan Farm Almonds, Sliced
, toasted
1 small jar low sugar jam or jelly
Ripe fresh fruit: Guava, Persimmon, Mango, Papaya, or your choice
Bake pie shell according to package directions. Cover bottom of cooled baked shell with half of the toasted sliced almonds. (This keeps the pie shell from getting soggy and gives added flavor.) Fill shell with fresh fruit. Warm jam or jelly and pour over fruit. Top with remaining toasted almond slices. No need to bake, just serve for rave reviews.
Try fresh guavas and strawberry jam, or persimmons with white grape jelly.
