GREEN PEA SALAD

Serves 6 to 8

 

Frozen peas (approx 20 oz.)

2 cups finely chopped celery

¼ cup finely chopped onion

¾ cup FLANIGAN FARMS CASHEWS, chopped

¼ cup FLANIGAN FARMS SUNFLOWER SEEDS

½ cup mayonnaise

½ cup sour cream

3-4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled or bacon bits

 

Defrost and drain peas. (Do not cook.) Add celery, onion nuts and seeds to peas.  Mix mayonnaise and sour cream together and add to pea mixture. Stir gently, mixing well.

Sprinkle tope with crumbled bacon or bacon bits.

 

Can be garnished with fresh mint.
