PANCAKES (Pecan or Walnut) Makes 12 dollar-size or 8 4-inch pancakes
1¼ cups all-purpose flour 3 t baking powder 1 T sugar ½ t salt 1 egg, beaten 1 cup milk 2 T vegetable oil 1/3 cup FLANIGAN FARMS PECAN PIECES OR CHOPPED WALNUTS
Sift together flour, baking, sugar and salt. Combine egg, milk and vegetable oil. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Mix in nuts. (Batter will be lumpy). Pour onto hot griddle and bake. Makes about 12 dollar-size or eight 4-inch pancakes. Serve with real maple syrup. |
