Sesame Pine Nut Thins This little wafer is really fun and easy to make. It is amazing to watch how they spread out, then bake to a golden semi-crisp cookie. Of course, the best part is how they taste.
¾ cup sugar 2 T butter, softened (plus butter to coat baking sheet) 3 eggs 1 t vanilla ½ t orange zest ½ cup flour ¾ cup Flanigan Farms Pine Nuts ½ cup Flanigan Farms Sesame Seeds
Lightly butter baking sheet. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Combine sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla and orange zest and mix well. Add flour and Pine Nuts. Blend together. Drop by the teaspoon onto baking sheet leaving plenty of room for cookies to spread. Carefully sprinkle Sesame Seeds on each cookie to cover. Bake about 10 minutes or until golden brown at edges. With spatula, remove cookies from baking sheet right away, then cool on rack. Store in tightly covered tin. |
