CRISPY SUNFLOWER COOKIES

 

1 cup packed light brown sugar

½ cup light corn-oil spread

½ cup sugar

¼ cup thawed frozen egg substitute or 1 egg

2 t vanilla extract

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1½ t baking soda

¾ t salt

2 cups quick cooking oats

½ cup FLANIGAN FARMS SUNFLOWER SEEDS

 

In a large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat brown sugar, corn-oil spread, sugar, egg substitute and vanilla extract until smooth.  With mixer at low speed, beat in flour, baking soda and salt until blended.  Stir in oats and sunflower seeds.  Roll dough by tablespoons into balls.  Place balls two inches apart on greased cookie sheet.  Bake 10 minutes at 375°F until golden.

Recipe uses SUNFLOWER SEEDS
