FRONTIER HAZELNUT VEGETABLE PIE

Serves 6

 

1 cup chopped fresh broccoli

1 cup chopped fresh cauliflower

2 cups chopped fresh spinach

1 small onion, diced

˝ green bell pepper, diced

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1 cup FLANIGAN FARMS BLANCHED HAZELNUTS, chopped

1˝ cups milk

1 cup baking mix (Bisquick)

4 eggs

1 t garlic salt

˝ t pepper

 

Steam broccoli and cauliflower until almost tender.

 

Mix broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, onion, green pepper and cheese and put into a well-greased 10” pie plate. Top with hazelnuts.

 

Beat together the milk, baking mix, eggs, garlic salt and pepper; pour over hazelnuts and vegetables.

 

Bake at 400°F for 35 to 40 minutes; let pie stand 5 minutes before cutting.
