SUMI (Japanese) CABBAGE SALAD

 

1 head cabbage shredded

1 cup Flanigan Farms Sunflower Seeds

1 cup Flanigan Farms Slivered Almonds

1 bunch green onions, sliced

1 package ramen noodles

 

Dressing:

1 cup vegetable oil

2 cups rice wine vinegar

1 cup sugar

¼ cup coarse black pepper

 

Toast Sunflower Seeds to a golden brown.  Combine toasted sunflower seeds, slivered almonds and sliced green onions and mix with cabbage.  Crumble Ramen noodles on top.  Toss salad with dressing just before serving.   Serves a group, but recipe may be cut easily.
